Celebrate a digital National Day with the Embassy of Sweden in Manila

The Embassy of Sweden in Manila is celebrating the Swedish National Day with a virtual event on 6 June.

According to recent announcements, the celebrations will feature national greetings from Her Royal Highness The Crown Princess. Her Family and Swedish Minister for Foreign Affairs Ann Linde will also be joining the digital National Day celebration.

In addition, the event will be packed with entertainment, including these featuring musicians:

José González, a singer/songwriter from Gothenburg, is one of Sweden’s biggest stars, with billion-plus streams on Spotify.

Léon, an international music sensation with a truly unmistakable voice.

Amason, a group named best alternative pop act at the 2020 Swedish Grammis music awards. They will perform from the legendary Ingrid studio in Stockholm.

And there’s more! The Embassy writes:

Tiktok phenomenon and comedian Liam Kalevi digs deeper into why we actually celebrate our National Day. The Cullberg dance company shows us a different reality in “Cullberg working from home.” Choirs will make your eyes tear and star chefs your mouth water.

Join us on 6 June, 5:30 PM (Philippine Time).
