In January, a representative from the Royal Danish Embassy, Bangkok together with Meabco A/S, a Danish pharmaceutical company, which developed an innovative anti-cancer drug, participated in a showcase of the Thai Food and Drug Administration (FDA), visited by Deputy Prime Minister General Chatchai Sarikulya and Minister of Public Health Clin. Prof. Emeritus Piyasakol Sakolsatayadorn.
Several innovative healthcare and pharmaceutical companies participated in the exhibition and received support and consultation from FDA with regard to product-licensing process.
As part of the Thailand 4.0 policy, Thai FDA has effectively streamlined its operations and enhanced the efficiency of the product-licensing process.
This means that Danish companies can bring its innovative health products to the Thai market faster and patients can have access to the innovative products in a timely manner.
