Viking Rubber, a Danish manufacturer of scandinavian-style workwear, has opened a new production facility in Vietnam. The company is known for its durable and innovative designs and is among the pioneering Danish textile firms operating in the country.

At the opening ceremony, Danish Ambassador to Vietnam Nicolai Prytz highlighted the importance of the milestone, noting that it represents more than just business expansion. He pointed to over 20 years of Danish investment and partnership in Vietnam, the strength of the local manufacturing sector, and the strong commitment to social responsibility by Danish companies.

The Embassy emphasized that Denmark and Vietnam have moved from development aid cooperation two decades ago to today’s equal partnership, sharing common values in innovation and the green transition. Viking Rubber’s long-standing presence in Vietnam was described as a clear example of these shared ambitions.

The new facility underlines Denmark’s growing economic footprint in Vietnam, and both sides expressed hope for further collaborations in the coming years.
