Denmark-Vietnam signs Action Plan

On May 28, Vietnam and Denmark signed the Vietnam – Denmark 2014-2015 Action Plan.

The plan spells out concrete measures, initiatives and projects to be pursued to implement the Comprehensive Partnership that was established between the two countries in September 2013, on the occasion of the State visit of President Truong Tan Sang to Denmark.

Ambassador John Nielsen addressed the significance of the event as he commented: “I am very satisfied with the signing of the Action Plan. It puts concrete action behind the intentions of the Comprehensive Partnership. It shows how our cooperation has matured and expanded to include political dialogue, commercial activities, ODA, education, and not least cultural activities.”

 

The Viet Nam – Denmark 2014-2015 Action Plan outlines measures, initiatives and projects aimed at strengthening the bilateral  cooperation in 5 areas, namely: (i) Political and Diplomatic cooperation;
(ii) Trade and Investment Cooperation; (iii) Climate, Energy,  Environment and Green Growth; (iv) Education and Research; and (v) Culture and People to People links./.
