On 7 June, the Embassy of Denmark in Vietnam celebrated World Food Safety Day, raising awareness and urging action by highlighting what everyone can do to ensure food safety.
The Embassy explains that Danish agriculture and food products are known for their high quality, reliability, and hygiene. The Danish culture of collaboration – between business, academics, and authorities – is at the heart of the national approach to continuously improve food safety and quality.
Denmark and Vietnam work together on improving food safety in Vietnam through the Strategic Sector Cooperation on Food Safety in the Pork Value Chain, which focuses specifically on feed safety, prudent use of antimicrobials, and capacity-building in the area of risk-based feed and food safety management and control.
