Finland’s national carrier Finnair will significantly increase its services to Thailand in the winter 2026/2027 season, confirming a record 25 weekly flights between Helsinki and Thailand.

The carrier currently operates three daily flights to Bangkok. From winter 2026, an additional daily service will be added, bringing the total to four per day. Finnair said the new afternoon arrival in Bangkok and late-evening return departure to Helsinki are scheduled to improve onward connections for European travellers.

Finnair will also bring back direct flights to Krabi, with two weekly services operating on Mondays and Thursdays. The Krabi route will return for the first time since before the pandemic, nearly six years after it was suspended.

Thailand continues to be one of Finnair’s most popular long-haul destinations, offering Nordic travellers a warm-weather escape and convenient connections via Helsinki. The expansion comes as Finnair gradually rebuilds its Asia network, which has been affected by Russian airspace closures since 2022.
