Business Sweden, Sweden’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the Embassies of Sweden in Jakarta and Hanoi welcomes to participation in an announced business delegation to Indonesia and Vietnam on 2-6 October 2016, headed by Ann Linde, Minister for EU Affairs and Trade. The delegation targets innovative and sustainable Swedish solutions and investments in key sectors of importance to the Vietnamese and Indonesian economies.

The delegation trip aims to assist Swedish companies in establishing themselves and grow on these fast-growing markets. Indonesia and Vietnam have both experienced high growth rates of around 6-7% in the last decade and are both classified as “Next-11” countries expected to lead future economic growth in the world. These countries offer Swedish companies big opportunities within everything from infrastructure to manufacturing and consumer products etc.

Significant investments in infrastructure, a rapidly growing consumer class and regulatory reforms concerning foreign investments in the manufacturing sector, create exciting opportunities for Swedish companies.

The program provides access to top-level decision makers in both the private and public sectors in Indonesia and Vietnam. Participating companies will be given the opportunity to present their solutions and services. Roundtables with business leaders are organised, as well as business forums to showcase innovative and sustainable concepts to wider audiences of key industry stakeholders.

Swedish companies are invited to participate with global CEO, participants from the Executive Management and/or Regional Director. CEOs of Swedish companies in Indonesia and Vietnam will be invited to participate in the Business Forum and parts of the program.

Targeted Swedish companies:
– Companies who are expanding their footprints in Indonesia and/or Vietnam or companies planning to enter these markets.
– Companies within all key industry sectors (special focus in Vietnam on transport & energy, consumer goods and manufacturing)
