On 22 April 2021 the Danish Shipping giant Maersk celebrated Earth day in collaboration with H&M on decarbonization. The announcement read:
Happy Earth Day. We are stepping up our efforts to decarbonise shipping, and achieve climate action for our customers and society. Our first carbon-neutral vessel will hit the waters in 2023.
