Norway will serve as the Guest Country of Honour at Marintec China 2025, one of the world’s largest maritime trade fairs, held in Shanghai from 2 to 5 December 2025.
The Team Norway pavilion will feature 40 exhibitors, including Jotun, Kongsberg Maritime, Goltens, Sperre Air Power, Wilhelmsen Ships Service and TMC Compressors. Organised by Norwegian Maritime Exporters, it is the largest Norwegian pavilion ever assembled at Marintec China.
“We are looking forward to returning to Shanghai for Marintec and we’re thrilled to have so many Team Norway participants,” said Erlend Prytz, CEO of Norwegian Maritime Exporters. He added that the organisation has worked closely with the Norwegian Embassy in Beijing and the Consulate General in Shanghai ahead of the event.
Norway’s Ambassador to China, Vebjørn Dysvik, highlighted the long-standing maritime cooperation between the two countries. “China and Norway have a strong and long-standing cooperation in the maritime field. Our two countries share a solid foundation and significant potential for further collaboration,” he said.
Marintec China is expected to host more than 2,200 exhibitors and over 100,000 visitors. Team Norway will organise seminars, networking sessions, business matchmaking events and a Norway Night reception.
