Norwegian salmon festival returns to IKEA Thailand this May

Throughout May 2025, IKEA Thailand is celebrating the return of its popular Salmon Festival, highlighting sustainable Norwegian seafood through a fusion of Thai and Scandinavian culinary traditions.

In collaboration with the Norwegian Seafood Council, the campaign features five special dishes made from responsibly sourced Norwegian salmon. These include Thai-style stir-fried salmon with hot basil and a Scandinavian salmon sandwich, offered at discounted prices for IKEA Family members.

According to IKEA, the festival supports its commitment to sustainable food sourcing while introducing Thai customers to new ways of enjoying salmon. The featured dishes are available at IKEA Bangna, IKEA Bang Yai, and IKEA Phuket for a limited time.

The promotion comes as Norway continues to strengthen its export of high-quality salmon to Thailand and other Asian markets, with a focus on sustainability and traceability.
