Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China to hold annual general meeting in Shanghai

The Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Shanghai on 29 May, bringing together members to discuss the chamber’s activities and elect its Board of Directors.

The meeting will take place at The Shanghai EDITION hotel and is open exclusively to current corporate members of the chamber. Voting rights will be limited to one representative from each member company.

According to the chamber, the AGM serves as its highest representative body and will cover board elections, annual reports, auditor reports and other governance matters related to the organisation.

The chamber said the event will also provide members with opportunities to network with other companies and industry representatives while gaining insight into the organisation’s strategic priorities and future plans.

Chairwoman Elisabeth Lindstrom-Dupuy will be able to receive proxy votes from member representatives unable to attend the meeting in person. A Spring Mingle networking event will follow the AGM at the same venue.
