The Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen has marked Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother’s 93rd birthday with a reforestation volunteering activity in Karlslunde, Denmark.
Held on Tuesday 5 August 2025 at Greve Skov forest, the event was organized in collaboration with the Danish Nature Agency and gathered more than 25 participants, including Ambassador H.E. Mrs. Suphanvasa Chotikajan Tang, embassy staff, members of the Thai community, their families, and Friends of Thailand.
Volunteers worked on thinning branches of oak, birch, and aspen saplings to support healthy growth and create habitats for wildlife, helping to increase biodiversity. The initiative also aimed to expand green spaces, reduce carbon dioxide, and combat global warming, reflecting the Queen Mother’s long-standing commitment to environmental conservation.
The embassy expressed gratitude to all who joined, noting that such activities strengthen unity and the standing of the Thai community in Denmark.
