Thai Nordic Folk Festival will bring musicians from Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Thailand to Speakerbox Livehouse in Bangkok on 24 October.
The event poster lists Danish songwriter Constantine Noble, Finnish artist Kimmo, Thai-Swedish singer Jenny and Thai band Venn. Doors open at 18:00, and the music starts at 19:00.
The organisers describe this as the festival’s first edition. They expect an audience of around 150 and plan a Nordic-Thai food and drink market before the performances. The event takes place in partnership with the Thai-Nordic Association, a community organisation founded in 1920.
The poster lists tickets at THB 500 in September and THB 600 from October. Festival details are available on the organiser’s website.
