Swedish companies and organisations joined Vietnamese business leaders and policymakers at the Green Industries Summit 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City on 10 September, as the country looks to turn its green and digital transition into new business opportunities.
More than 200 business leaders, policymakers and experts attended the summit, according to the Swedish Embassy in Vietnam.
Swedish participants included Ericsson, Business Sweden and H&M Group. Sweden’s Ambassador to Vietnam, Johan Ndisi, also took part in the event.
Discussions focused on topics including digitalisation, sustainable production, future factories, global supply chains and the skills needed for emerging industries.
The summit was organised by NordCham Vietnam and brought together representatives from business, government and other sectors to discuss how Vietnam can combine economic competitiveness with its green transition.
The Swedish Embassy highlighted the role of partnerships between companies, government and academia in supporting Vietnam’s industrial transformation.
