Chinese Premier Li Qiang has congratulated Mette Frederiksen on her re-election as Danish prime minister, Big News Network reports.
In his message, Li highlighted Denmark’s early role in establishing diplomatic relations with China. He described the cooperation between the two countries as “fruitful” and said it has delivered concrete benefits to both sides in recent years.
He also stressed that the Chinese government attaches great importance to its relationship with Denmark.
Li expressed readiness to continue working with Frederiksen to promote what he called the stable and healthy development of the China–Denmark comprehensive strategic partnership.
