Danish Easter table returns to Hong Kong

Danes in Hong Kong will gather for a traditional Danish Easter lunch following the Annual General Meeting of the Danish Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong.

The Danish community in Hong Kong will soon gather around one of Denmark’s most beloved traditions.

The Danish Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong is hosting its Annual General Meeting followed by a traditional Danish Easter lunch on 21 March 2026.

The AGM will begin at noon at Savvy in the Prince Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui and is open to members only. The agenda includes the chairman’s report, financial report and budget, election of committee members and auditors, as well as other business.

After the meeting, the event continues with a Danish Easter lunch open to everyone.

Guests can expect a menu inspired by the classic Danish Easter table. Dishes include herring with curry salad and onions, fried plaice with remoulade, Arctic shrimps with mayonnaise and warm liver pâté with bacon and beetroot. Gammon with creamy potatoes and rye bread will also be served.

The lunch will be accompanied by wine, beer, soft drinks and juice, as the Danish community in Hong Kong comes together to celebrate the Easter tradition.

Participants must register with the Danish Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong by email before March 20.
