Join the What’s Up Finland Week this week

Join the What’s Up Finland Week from 30 November to 6 December which is an annual event that highlights Finnish innovation, expertise, and culture in Hong Kong. 

The event week is organized by FinnCham Hong Kong, the Consulate General of Finland in Hong Kong and Macao and Asia Society Hong Kong and this year’s theme is “Designing a Carbon-neutral Future”.

About the event week, the Consulate General of Finland in Hong Kong and Macao writes:

The week starts with our seminar series at the Asia Society Hong Kong Centre, Admiralty. The first seminar, Innovation Collaboration: Lessons learned from Finland and Hong Kong (Tuesday 30 November 6:00–7:30 pm) examines collaboration possibilities for Finland and Hong Kong to promote sustainable transformation and innovations. 

The second seminar, Talent Acquisition in the Digital Era: Challenges and Solutions Seminar (Wednesday 1 December 6:00–7:30 pm) highlights Finland’s talent policy, showcases the highly popular and innovative “90 Days a Finn” program and its newest edition “90 days a Finn by lake Saimaa” and includes discussants that have moved between Hong Kong and Finland and vice-versa. 

On Saturday 4 December (2–3.30 and 4–5.30 pm), you can join an art-walking tour with a Finnish Hong Kong-based artist Riitta Kuisma to see her mural art around Kowloon. 

The week is concluded on Monday 6 December, when TST Clock Tower turns deep blue from 6 pm to 10 pm to celebrate Finland’s 104th Independence Day.
