On 13 December 2018, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on innovation and business development was signed between Business Finland and National Innovation Agency of Thailand.
The collaboration in innovation and business development will initiate shared knowledge within research and innovation in bio and circular economy, sustainable and smart energy, digitalization, commercialization of start-ups and improving the competencies of domestic enterprises.
Executive Director Dr. Pun-Arj Chairatana represented National Innovation Agency of Thailand, which is a public organization and an agency responsible for promoting and supporting innovation.
Business Finland was represented by Executive Director Mr. Reijo Kangas. Business Finland is a Finnish government agency in charge of innovation funding and export promotion.
The MoU signing ceremony was held at the House of Estate, Finland, according to the Embassy of Finland in Bangkok.
