
Foreign nationals whose legal stay in the Philippines expired on or after 28 February 2026 will be allowed to remain in the country without penalties until 1 April 2026, according to the Bureau of Immigration.
The measure is announced in light of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and applies to affected foreign nationals whose authorised stay has already expired or will expire during the period.
According to the Bureau of Immigration, those covered by the announcement will not be required to pay fees, fines or other penalties for overstaying until the 1 April deadline.
