Team Finland Bangkok visited Huhtamaki plant

On Tuesday 12 June, Finland’s Ambassador Satu Suikkari-Kleven together with her Team Finland in Bangkok and a representative from Thai-Finnish Chamber of Commerce (TFCC) visited Huhtamaki‘s factory in Samutsakorn.

Huhtamaki, a prominent Finnish company, is a global specialist in packaging for food and drink. Today, Huhtamaki employs approximately 16,000 employees in over 70 manufacturing units and several sales offices in over 30 countries, across all continents.

In Thailand, the innovation team has invented a variety of packaging range to meet the different needs of customers such as easy opening, re-closeable, shelf display and anti-counterfeit. Many of them have sold in Thailand and abroad successfully.

Huhtamaki Thailand innovation products have received 2 awards, Silver (Self-venting microwave bag) and Bronze (Shrink Plus), from the second Thailand Plastics contest held by Thai Plastic Industries Association and The Federation of Thai Industries.
