
The 23rd European Film Festival (EUFF) in Vietnam will take place from November 14 to 28, 2024. The festival features a selection of captivating films from across Europe. Among the highlights of the festival is the Danish thriller “SONS,” presented by the Embassy of Denmark. Film enthusiasts can catch this gripping drama in Ho Chi Minh City on November 16 and in Hanoi on November 26.

The festival will spotlight a variety of thrilling titles that provide fresh perspectives on the genre. Featured films include:
SONS: A chance encounter in prison ignites a struggle between morality and revenge, showcasing the intense psychological conflict faced by its protagonist, Eva.
INVALID: This tragicomedy follows a wheelchair-bound security guard who confronts a notorious criminal gang, skillfully blending humor with drama.
RUNNER: In this suspenseful narrative, Marija embarks on a city-wide hunt to find her missing boyfriend over the course of a single day.
THE MAN WITHOUT GUILT: This film examines individual fates against the larger backdrop of the asbestos industry, highlighting the human cost of corporate negligence.
About “SONS”
“SONS,” directed by Gustav Möller includes notable performances. It features Sidse Babett Knudsen, Sebastian Bull, and Dar Salim. Running for 100 minutes, the film delves into deep emotional themes and criminal elements, receiving a T18 age rating.
