China’s foreign minister heads to Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway

China’s top diplomat, Wang Yi, is set to tour Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway next week for high-level talks with Nordic foreign ministers.

Wang Yi will travel to all four Nordic countries between July 2 and 8 in a rare regional tour.

According to China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the visit comes at the invitation of Denmark’s Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen, Sweden’s Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard, Finland’s Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen and Norway’s Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide.
