Finnish design brand Marimekko opens floral pop-up in Bangkok

Finnish design brand Marimekko is hosting its Art of Flowers pop-up exhibition at Bangkok’s Mega Bangna until 22 July.

Finnish design brand Marimekko is inviting visitors to explore its colourful prints at a special pop-up exhibition in Bangkok. The event runs until 22 July at Mega FoodWalk in Mega Bangna.

The Marimekko: Art of Flowers pop-up celebrates the brand’s distinctive design style and its latest collections. It combines fashion, homeware and floral-inspired artwork in one exhibition.

Visitors can explore three themed zones during the event. Art of Dressing showcases Marimekko’s bold fashion prints. Art of Living features homeware, textiles and everyday essentials. Art of Blooming highlights the brand’s long-standing inspiration from flowers and nature.

The exhibition’s centrepiece is Kukasta kukkaan, a print created by Finnish designer Erja Hirvi in 2024. It depicts bees travelling through a blooming summer garden. The design appears throughout Marimekko’s Pre-Fall 2026 collection. It features on both clothing and home products.

According to Marimekko, the exhibition reflects its “Bring Joy to Your Everyday Life” philosophy. The displays encourage visitors to discover colourful designs for daily life.

The pop-up opened on 20 July and continues through 22 July. The featured collections are also available at Marimekko stores across Thailand.
