Finnish film TOVE at the Pink Screen film festival in Singapore

The Swedish language Finnish film TOVE is playing at the Pink Screen film festival at the Projector in Singapore, the Embassy of Finland in Singapore announces.

TOVE is a movie about Tove Jansson who found worldwide success from an unexpected side project, the creation of the beloved world of the Moomins. It is a captivating drama about the creation of an iconic talent and her turbulent search for identity, desire, and freedom. The film is the highest-grossing Swedish-language Finnish film in the last 40 years.

The Projector in Singapore is presenting TOVE with support from the Embassy of Finland in Singapore for limited screenings on Wednesday 23 June at 8.30 pm and Sunday 27 June at 2 pm.

Pink Screen at The Projector is the annual LGBTQ film festival presented by NBCUniversal.

The Projector stands with all their LGBTQ friends through films on inclusion, representation, and diversity. Films can be streamed on The Projector Plus from 2 June and watched at the Cinema from 17 June.
