Danish lifestyle retailer Flying Tiger Copenhagen has expanded its footprint in Malaysia with the opening of its first Kuala Lumpur outlet at The Gardens Mall. The store was officially launched on 4 September 2025, following the company’s debut in the country earlier this year at AEON Mall Tebrau City in Johor Bahru.
Located on the second floor of The Gardens Mall, the new outlet showcases Flying Tiger Copenhagen’s well-known range of quirky and affordable products, from stationery and homewares to toys, beauty tools and seasonal collections. The expansion is carried out in partnership with PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAP), and the opening event included the participation of CEO Martin Jermiin.
“I’m so happy to be here in Kuala Lumpur with opening our store here. We’re so excited and we’re so humbled by the experience, and by all of you visiting our store,” Martin Jermiin said.
To celebrate the opening, visitors were offered giveaways and activities from 4 to 6 September, including tote bags, “spin the wheel” prizes and complimentary popcorn or cotton candy.
Flying Tiger Copenhagen, headquartered in Denmark, operates more than 1,000 outlets worldwide. The company is currently expanding across Asia, with recent new stores in Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines, alongside its latest openings in Malaysia.
