‘The Very Little Princess’ will be shown in Luang Prabang

Heuan Chan Heritage House in downtown Luang Prabang, where the European Film Festival will take place

‘The Very Little Princess’, the Finnish children’s movie from 2024, will be shown at the Heuan Chan Heritage House in downtown Luang Prabang as part of the European Film Festival that kicks off August 8. 

The open-air screenings aim to celebrate European storytelling and cultural exchange. The program includes three films: Vicky and Mystery (France), Satu, The Year of the Rabbit (United Kingdom), and lastly The Very Little Princess (Prinsessa Pikkiriikki).

All films will be shown with Lao and English subtitles, and entry is free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis.

The festival will take place on 8 August 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM and 9 August 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
