The festival saw the participation of artisans from India, Myanmar, Japan, Singapore, China, Vietnam, Zimbabwe and European students studying at the Royal Danish Academy of Music.

The Vietnamese delegation, led by musician Vo Duc Tuan, arrived in Denmark to perform at the festival and take part a workshop on percussion around the world at the invitation of the Royal Danish Academy of Music and the Danish Embassy in Vietnam.

The event offered an opportunity for Vietnamese ethnic artists to introduce Gong, a M’Nong’s traditional musical instrument and perform the instrument, as well as promote Vietnamese traditional culture to the world.

During their stay in Denmark from January 25 to February 4, the artists met with foreign students studying at the Danish Royal Academy of Music to introduce to them how to beat gongs of the M’nong group.
