Best of International and American Learning
Stamford offers two rigorous programs of learning: the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program integrated with the rigorous American Education Reaches Out (AERO) standards. Stamford students get the best of international and American education to prepare them to live, learn and work in our increasingly globalized world.
Daily Foreign Language Program
With native speaking teachers, Stamford’s daily Mandarin and Spanish language program begins from age 2 and increases fluency, fosters international understanding and encourages students to embrace their role as global citizens. Stamford offers a strong foreign language foundation covering reading, writing, speaking and culture.
Stamford focuses on building students’ experience and comfort with integrated technology. There are interactive Promethean boards in every classroom, a 1-to-1 iPad Program for students from Kindergarten 2 through Grade 5 and a 1-to-1 MacBook Program for our Middle School and High School students.
Stamford recruits faculty who are dedicated and passionate about their subject area and excited by the prospect of working within a diverse community. Open-minded and curious, Stamford’s teachers help students form connections across disciplines and emphasize active, collaborative learning. All Stamford teachers are trained in the IB programs and are committed to bringing out the best in our students.
