Missing Finn List no longer Public

Three weeks after the disaster which claimed the lives of more than 150,000 people, the list of Finnish missing people has been removed from all official websites.
The Finnish Ministry of Interior instructed the Central Criminal Police to end the publishing of the missing list on all public media. In a press release the Ministry of Interior backed the withdrawal of the public list of missing by the fact that there no longer is the need for the public usage of the list.
On Sunday two Finnish citizens have been confirmed dead as a result of the Asian Tsunami. However the Finnish DVI-team has pre-identified two other Finnish bodies. Three bodies have been transferred to Finland and 174 remain missing.
