Wallenius Wilhelmsen makes PSA its SE-Asian hub

Global shipping and logistics company Wallenius Wilhelmsen has recently renewed its Appropriated Berth Agreement (ABA) with PSA Corporation Ltd. (PSA), which is the operator of the world’s largest container transhipment hub, PSA Singapore.
     Signing on behalf of Wallenius Wilhelmsen was Mr. Anders Boman, Head of Region Asia, and for PSA, Mr. Tan Puay Hin, Head of Operations, Singapore, PSA Corporation. The ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Ng Chee Keong, President & Chief Executive Officer, Singapore, PSA Corporation.
     Under the renewed ABA, Wallenius Wilhelmsen will enjoy a customized suite of services which includes priority berthing and price certainty for its vessels. The global specialist in ocean services and supply chain solutions will occupy more cargo storage space and facilities better suited for its regular Singapore port calls.
     “This is a positive development for Wallenius Wilhelmsen and particularly for our customers and service providers who will benefit from the additional storage space and facilities at PSA,” said Mr. Anders Boman.
     “This agreement reaffirms the committed partnership between Wallenius Wilhelmsen and PSA – a relationship we look forward to continuing,” he added.
     Mr. Ng Chee Keong was delighted that Wallenius Wilhelmsen has selected Singapore as its regional hub.
