This December a lot of people were being very generous as they took part in a charity to raise funds for the Singapore Red Cross Society, by shopping for their Christmas gifts at the Georg Jensen store in the ground level of Paragon in Singapore.
While buying gifts in the store of a true Scandinavian luxury lifestyle brand, the shoppers had their gifts wrapped by some of Singapore’s favorite famous faces including Danish Ambassador, Berit Basse who helped wrapping gifts on Sunday 16 December.
The Ambassador was pleased to be a part of this cause, having seen the success of Georg Jensen’s Joy of Giving activities in Denmark. The Ambassador hopes to spread the same joy in Singapore this holiday season, and show the support for the Singapore Red Cross.
Proceeds raised throughout the month of December will be channeled to Singapore Red Cross’ local humanitarian services, including the Red Cross Home for the Disabled, transport aid, food aid, first aid training and community first aid programmes.
