The grant to strengthen the VYEO was initiated with an agreement signed between the Danish Ambassador, Peter Lysholt Hanson, and VYEO’s vice chairman, Phuong Huu Viet on April 20.
VYEO will be supported in its role both as a mediator to communicate wishes and needs of business to policy makers, and as a representative and protector of the interests of its members.
Business organizations like VYEO, which play an important role in developing a strong and sustainable private sector in Vietnam, can ensure that the ideas and viewpoints of members and the private sector is taken into consideration during the policy making process.
The project will also benefit the affiliated provincial associations in five selected provinces, namely Hue, Da Nang, Dong Nai, Hai Duong, and Hai Phong.
