The Swedish company C2SAT has opened its first production facility in Singapore.
It is a collaboration with the local company Fong’s Advance Technology. The Swedish ambassador Mr Ingemar Dolfe was the guest of honour at the opening ceremony, and in his speech he touched upon the strong commercial relations between Singapore and Sweden. Several hundred guests attended the opening, and they were also treated to a tour of the facility.
C2SAT is based in Stockholm. The company develops, manufactures and supplies one of the world’s most advanced antenna systems. C2SAT specialises in antenna systems for maritime vessels, and therefore it is a natural step to establish themselves in one of the world’s largest ports: Singapore.
The production facility in Singapore will be an important step towards C2SAT:s ambition to globally become one of the top three suppliers of mobile maritime communication solutions.
