Sida selected 6 Cambodians as representatives for attending ITP

On April 25, Embassy of Sweden in Phnom Penh opened their door to congratulate six Cambodians who were selected by Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) as representatives for attending the International Training Programme (ITP) on Gender Statistic taking place in Stockholm, Sweden, in May 2019.

ITP is organized by Statistics Sweden, in collaboration with Sida. It offers the participants assistances to strengthen capacity on gender equality in the participants’ countries by using the latest developments in their areas of work supervised by skilled Swedish colleagues and experts .

Apart from Cambodia, countries invited to apply for the program in 2019 are Myanmar, Zambia, Liberia and Ethiopia.

Mr. Samuel Hurtig, Counsellor Deputy Head of Development Cooperation welcomed all six representatives to the Embassy of Sweden before their trip to attend the program. The representatives also took this opportunity to introduce themselves, build a network and receive further information about Sweden.
