Danish Ambassador Uffe Wolffhechel met on 3 August 2017 with H.E. Secretary General of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission of Thailand, Mr. Takorn Tantasith, repports the Embassy on its Facebook page.
Also present at the meeting was Mr. Satya Gupta of the Danish telecommunications company BlueTown. They discussed highly competitive, cost-efficient solutions on extending the broadband to rural and remote areas in Thailand, which could improve living conditions, business possibilities while at the same time creating new opportunities for local schools and medical clinics.
