Danish-Vietnamese firm turns waste into flooring materials

Vietnam – a country with more than 37 million registered motorbikes – seems like the right destination for the Danish company Ergofloor A/S to set up a business recycling rubber from the tires of motorbikes and trucks. Ergofloor Phu Viet Rubber Ltd. a Danish-Vietnamese, joint venture, daily uses more than 3 tons of scrap tires in their production. wasterecyclRubber granule from scrap tires are recycled and transformed into ergonomically floors, which are mainly used for children’s playgrounds, utilized by hospitals etc. The owner of Ergofloor A/S Michael Moric see many future business prospects “The quality of our products produced in Vietnam is remarkably improved and our production capacity is almost high enough for us to be able to export worldwide”. Ambassador John Nielsen highlights that “Danish companies are front runners when it comes to recycling and the creativeness of Ergofloor is a good example . Recycling will become good business in Vietnam as the country further develops”.
