Swedish Ambassador Makes official Visit To Bali

Following
her trip to Timor Leste, Ambassador Ann Marie Bolin Pennegård on 16-20 June
2008 made an official visit to Bali where she met with among others the
Governor Dewa Made Beratha, the Chief of the Police in Bali Teuku Ashikin
Husein, the Speaker of the Bali Parliament Ida Bagus Putu Wesnawa, the Chief of
Immigration Mr Yusuf Hdai and the Head of Sanglah Hospital Dr I Gusti Lanang M.
Rudiartha. She also met the Rector for the Insitute of Art in Bali,
Professor Wayan Rai S, in order to discuss futher cooperation.
    During her
visit, the Ambassador was accompanied by the Swedish Honorary Consul in Bali, Ida Bagus Ngurah Wijaya.             Together with him, she
organised a well received reception for the Swedish community in Bali and some
guests from Bali at the premise of the Swedish Honorary Consulate in Bali, Segara Village Hotel in Sanur. She furthermore had
a few interviews with local media and attended the grand opening of the Art
Festival in Bali on 14 June.
