Cambodia’s Development Cooperation Board (CDCB) joined a high-level discussion on the future of global aid cooperation. The meeting was organised by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.

Chou Heng, Deputy Secretary General of Cambodia’s development body, took part as a panellist. The discussion focused on development cooperation amid declining global aid budgets.

The panel included Elina Scheja from the Swedish International Development Agency, alongside representatives from the Asian Development Bank and ONE.

Participants exchanged views on how development cooperation can remain effective as funding levels tighten. The session was held virtually and included officials from both partner countries and development agencies.

The OECD’s Development Cooperation Directorate organised the discussion from Paris. It follows earlier collaboration in 2025 between the OECD and Cambodia on development effectiveness frameworks.
