The Danish Embassy in Bangkok is one of the busiest representations of the foreign service where a large number of travelling or settled Danes need to be serviced. The embassy offers two positions for Danes or other Nordic citizens. The services provided by the embassy can be divided into two: consul and visa section. The embassy is looking for a new trusted and preferably experienced employee for each of these. It is a job in an exiting, international and dynamic environment. Consular work is expected to be handled on a high level so that the employee can oversee procedures in the absence of the manager. You will be in contact with many different Thais and Danes, authorities and companies. Your colleagues will be a mix of Thais and Danes.
The position in the consular section aid Danes in Thailand through routine service such as renewal of passport and hospitalisations with contact with travellers and residents. The embassy works with the Foreign Ministry and Danish consulates in Thailand and Myanmar and other European embassies in the region.
The position in the visa section includes advising on work permits, visa applications and more.
Salary will be negotiated after qualifications
