Early morning 7:30 the Maersk Line Sky Lounge at Empire Tower was full of mingling people. The Danish-Thai Chamber of Commerce had invited them to the first Fall Breakfast Seminar on 15 September 2015. Both members and non-members gathered together at the delicious breakfast buffet and were served freshly brewed coffee and croissants before the keynote speaker and author David Allen performed an exclusive seminar about ”Getting Things Done”.
“I think it attracts a lot of business people when a famous person like David Allen speaks about stress-free productivity”, says Peter Torpenholt, Development Director in Pandora Company.
All seats were filled with guests when David Allen began his presentation about this theory GTD: Getting Things Done. The Danish-Thai Chamber of Commerce had held a breakfast seminar earlier this year, and they see a tendency to a full guestlist when their events concern motivational speeches.
David Allen is widely recognized as the world’s leading expert on personal and organizational productivity.
“It’s funny that my concept about “getting things done” attracts productive people the most,” David Allen said during the seminar. He was right considering his audience included Peter Torpenholt from Pandora, many from the bigger Danish business brands, together with the director of Danes World Wide and members of the Danish Embassy, productive people indeed.
