SThis could just be an addition to her long list of achievements having been chosen as one of the 450 student leaders all over the globe to attend and participate the much coveted ISFiT 2009 in Norway.
Silliman University Senior Mass Communication stude Stacy Danika Alcantara is considered by her friends SU’s Super Girl for being extraordinarily active both in academic and extra curricular activities, and mind you excelling at both.
Take into consideration her being a Miss Silliman title holder, a constant student government officer, speaker of the students, a born-writer as she was able to write 14 brilliant books at age 14, a nationally recognized top performing student and so much more that the list could just go on and on.
Now, she is among the five delegates from the Philippines of over 4300 applicants from around the world to experience the International Student Festival in Trodheim (ISFiT) 2009 which will take place in Trodheim, Norway from February 20 to March 1, 2009.
ISFiT 2009 has received about 4300 applications from 149 nations.
All applicants have gone through a thorough selection process where only the most motivated and dedicated students were selected and Dumaguete’s pride Stacy is among the 450 students looked forward to be participating the prestigious event.
The title of ISFiT 2009 is Building a Future where the main topic is Peacebuilding. The ISFiT Foundation consists of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Sor-Trondelag University College, the Student Society of Trondheim, Studentsamskipnaden I Trondheim, Trondheim Local Authority and Sor-rondelag County Authority.
