What does Norway look like to a young Indonesian artist? This question can now be answered by the Norwegian ambassador in Jakata. Due to a request by the embassy the young Indonesians has painted their perception of the Nordic country.
Art students from Institut Kesenian Jakarta, Fakultas Seni Rupa have painted their impressions of Norway inspired by Norwegian landscape- and art-books as well as a film about Norway the students got the assignment of catching the spirit of Norway on the canvas.
The artworks will be on exhibit for sale in the ambassador’s residence during the Norwegian national day celebrations.
