The Japanese pop duo Vanilla Beans has made a remake of the Danish soccer song, Re-Sepp-Ten – in Danish!
The two girls love Denmark and they are strong supporters of the Danish national soccer team. Together with the Ambassador to Japan, Franz-Michael Skjold Mellbin, they have recorded their own version of this 1986 classic.
In the original version, the entire Danish soccer team, including Michael Laudrup, Morten Olsen, and Coach Sepp Piontek is singing their hearts out, and in the new video, the Danish Ambassador to Japan is supposedly playing the part of Preben Elkjær.
The video has been made in cooperation with Carlsberg as part of the company’s FIFA World Cup campaign.
