The Swedish Government has appointed Eva Walder, the first woman at that post, as Director-General for Trade Policy at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
Eva Walder is known by many as the former Swedish Ambassador to Singapore. She has also been Ambassador in Helsinki. Ms Walder will take up her new post in September 2011
