Technology plays an increasingly bigger role in all aspects of how we live, play, work and socialise. While enjoying all the positive aspects of technological developments, we more than ever need to address the darker sides of tech and the democratic threats that come from our rising dependence on technology.
In 2017, as the first ever nation, Denmark appointed a Tech Ambassador. Now, we once again re-think what diplomacy looks like in the 21st century by laying out a new strategy for Denmark’s TechPlomacy. At the very centre, we aim to make sure that the same rights, laws and principles that we abide by offline are being upheld online.
We want to ensure a responsible, democratic and secure technological development for all. Companies and citizens alike.
