Indonesia has introduced a new unified digital portal, the “All Indonesia” Arrival Card, which consolidates immigration, customs, and health declarations into a single online form. The system is now mandatory at major entry points such as Bali, Jakarta, and Surabaya.
The arrival card must be completed within three days prior to entering Indonesia. The online process takes just a few minutes and generates a QR code, which travelers must present upon arrival. The service is free of charge and replaces earlier systems such as SATUSEHAT and the electronic customs declaration.
Authorities emphasize that the arrival card is not a visa, but a required entry declaration. Foreign visitors must still obtain the appropriate visa, such as a Visa on Arrival or e-VOA, while citizens of certain ASEAN countries remain eligible for visa-free entry. Indonesian nationals returning home must also complete the new form using their national ID number.
The “All Indonesia” system can be accessed via web portal or mobile app, and allows travelers to include multiple family members in one application. Officials highlight that the reform aims to reduce paperwork, speed up clearance times, and provide a more secure and efficient arrival experience.
