As of September 12th 2017, HE Mr Vegard Kaale is the new Ambassador to Indonesia, reports Royal Norwegian Embassy in Jakarta. Mr Kaale looks forward to continuing to strengthen the good relations between Norway and Indonesia in many fields.
“Our new Ambassador has a broad background within both political and administrative affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Most recently, he served as Director and Head of Section for Energy and Climate, a subject he cares much about and which is very important to Norwegian-Indonesian bilateral relations.”
Mr Kaale’s previous postings include The Hague and Dublin.
