400 Years of Thai-Danish Relations

 400 Years of Thai-Danish Relations was published to celebrate the 400 years anniversary from the first contact between Denmark and then Siam, today Thailand. The book shares some of the remarkable stories from the past that have led to the close ties between the two countries today. It shares stories about how Danes have made important contributions to the development of modern Thailand. From the first tramway, large parts of the railway system, bridges and highways, as well as in areas such as farming (Thai-Denmark milk), marine biology, education, health, environment and energy.

The book also looks at the potential for expanded commercial relations between the two nations within energy, food and health on an exciting path to achieving a more sustainable tomorrow together.
