Circo Aereo, an international contemporary circus group from Finland and Wise Fools, Finnish circus trio will open their shows in Singapore at the end of May 2019.
Circo Aereo will perform thier well-known stage play “The Artist” which was praised by several global entertainment magazines and websites such as The Stage, The Times UK and Time Out London for its delightness, sense of invention and humor that can entertain audiences in all ages.
The synopsis of “The Artist” as provided by Circo Aereo is about “an artist arriving in his paint-spattered studio is ready to create a new work. He waits for inspiration, but his focus strays and the blank canvas taunts him. Suddenly, every task is filled with challenges, until chaos is unavoidable.”
Supported by Finnair, the Artist is created by award-winning Thom Monckton and Circo Aereo, and directed by Sanna Silvennoinen.
“The Artist” will start from May 24-26, 2019 at Esplanade Recital Studio, Singapore. The ticket price is $35 per person.
Apart from Circo Aereo, there is another show “Trashpeze” by Wise Fools, a circus trio comprising Valpuri Kaarninen, Maria Peltola and Jaimee Allen. All of them are specialise in triple trapeze and skipping ropes.
Trashpeze is an aerial acrobatics street circus show introducing the audiences with explosive and unique circus techniques on triple trapeze, cloud swing and dance trapeze.
Wise Fools will perform “Trashpeze” from May 24-29, 2019 at Esplanade Courtyard Green. All tickets are free!!
