“Human rights education is essential for the promotion of respect for and observance of human rights. Through human rights education it is possible to develop the skills and attitudes that promote equality, dignity and respect in communities, society and worldwide,” Ambassador Charlotte Laursen said in her speech.

The conference was held in collaboration also with Vietnam National University, the Ho Chi Minh City Law University and the Danish Institute for Human Rights in the framework of the Danish-funded Good-Governance and Public Administration Programme.
